Prolonged continuous shredding may cause the motor to overheat and activate safety thermal cutoff. If this happens, simply switch off the shredder and wait 15 minutes before attempting to shred again. Avoid opening the wastebasket while shredding. DO NOT use aerosol cleaners, lubricants, or any flammable substances on or near the machine. Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or property damage.
